Even when I was a practicing Christian, I thought separation of Church and State was a really good idea. Is it really important that your faith be promoted in the politics of the country? The Mormons would want the same thing and talk about marriage and the state whew.. I am not trying to be contradictory. I am just really curious if you want a religious state. That is what Muslims want and it just doesn't seem like a good idea to me. I trust your intellect on matters and would love to hear some specific feedback on this issue.
